Greetings: Yesterday - Sept. 4th at 6:00 pm and on Sept. 3rd at approx. 4:30 pm a Great egret was observed at the Yarmouth Natural Heritage area, near Aylmer, Ontario. A Common nighthawk was observed around 6:30 pm at the corner of John Wise Line (Regional Rd. #45) and Rogers Rd. S.. To get to Yarmouth from Hwy #3 drive south on Springwater Rd and cross John Wise Line. Continue driving south on Springwater Rd to the second road - Forsynth Line. Turn right, heading west and continue driving through an S bend in the road. At the bottom of the hill is the parking lot for Yarmouth Natural Heritage area. Good birding!
