Hello Everyone,

I went birding out east of Toronto today in search of some shorebirds and found
a good selection. I started off in Whitby on Brock St. just south of Front St.
at a pond just north of the Lake looking for an American Avocet that has been
long standing since for 16 days now, but didnt see it. Apparently the bird was
seen at 8am in this location earlier today, so it is still around somewhere.

Then off to Presquile where i viewed the 2 Long-billed Dowitchers and the
Western Sandpiper as of 7pm tonight. Also present in some numbers were Bairds,
Semipalmated, Stilt, Least, and Pectoral Sandpipers, and Semipalmated Plovers.
All of these were viewed from the Owens Point Trail beach.

Good Birding
