Hello Ontbirders,

In addition to the Godwit this morning, Chris Lewis, Bob Bracken, Bob Cermak
and I had two Great Egrets which flushed as we were the first people out there
this morning. We also had a Baird's Sandpiper which also left the area before
others arrived. It should also be noted we had a juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper
that remained in the area and a beautiful Rusty Blackbird also right near the
mudflat. Otherwise, plenty of Solitary Sandpipers, Greater and Lesser
Yellowlegs. Also a Winter Wren was heard calling in the woods. I wanted to get
those other birds out as well so people can keep an eye out for them.

Thank you,

Jay Peterson
