But also had some times with light or no wind at all. Cloud cover went from 0 to 90%. Raptor Observations: One of the observers had the first Swainson's Hawks of the season. Late in the day was best for the movement was slow before hand. Around 6,000 Broad-winged Hawks went over in the last two hours of the count time. Hardly any were counted before that time. They were very, very, very high up at times.
