Visitors:
Lots of visitors to the site today and a big thanks to everyone for their
help spotting....Gil and Jann Randall (N.Y.), Dave Weare, Dave Sked, Mike
Nielson, John Potticary, Ed Coutur, Don and Beth Wigle...and Sally, Cathy
and the rest of their crew.

Weather:
Initially no clouds..then clouds formed indicating indicating thermals had
developed. Winds werw strong from the NE then letting up slightly by
midmorning. The humidity was higer through the day which typiclly results
in a slower flight. Temp was just a bit cooler with a high of 21C.

Raptor Observations:
The total for the day was 350 raptors...with a small flight of Broadwings
(71), just a few each of most species and the bulk being Sharpies (240).

Non-raptor Observations:
Thanks to Mary Carnahan for all the reports of the other migrants that we
have passing the site....these included several warblers species:
Blackpoll, Yellow-rumped, Palm, Wilson's, Nashville, Magnolia, BT Green,
Common Yellowthroat,...also Sue Southon had Am. Redstart, Black and
White...and a possible Mourning. Several folks had Red-eyed and
Philadelphia Viroe, Swainson's Thrush, lots and lots of Blue Jays (4000+),
Brown Thrasher, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Brown Creeper, Downie Woodpecker
and Eastern Bluebird and lots of RT Hummingbirds. The Monarchs we being
seen moving today...especially along o just below the cliff edge with
perhaps 1 or 2 a minute during the count period.

Predictions:
Friday could be decent...and if the predictions of moderate to strong NE
winds happen for Saturday, it could bring a good flight.
