I would like to say thank you to all that have visited the Brighton Wetlands this year, it has been a pleasure to be there to greet most of you, 817 of you have graced us with your visits, and for that I am grateful for this, in the beginning I never thought that I would have had this many visitors, if I said I was tickled pink it would be an understatement as to how I feel.
As for Maureen and Rod all I can say is thank you from the depths of the of my Wetland ok ha ha ha, I really do appreciate all the work and words that you have written. Now for the bad news This next weekends will be the last for viewing at the Wetlands Sunday September 27th from 9 am to 12 pm except for a tour that is coming through on October 17th, if anyone has a GROUP that wish to come through and would like to arrange a time for a Saturday or Sunday please try to give me a 4-5 day notice. I will make every effort to be there. Cell 613-391-9142 Home 613-475-0881 keith.lee(at)sympatico.ca Directions: The Constructed Wetland is located at the SE corner of Brighton. From Hwy 401, take the Brighton exit 509 (Hwy. 30) and follow it south into town. Go south through the two traffic lights, over the railway tracks and follow the main road, now called Prince Edward Street, south. About 1 km south of the tracks, the main road begins to swing to the left and becomes Cty. Rd. 64. As this long turn ends the Constructed Wetlands appear on the right side. Look for the Wetland viewing sign at the east end of the Wetland. Parking is on the shoulder of the road, please do not drive in. Thanks everyone Keith "Tiny" Lee _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
