Jon Pleizier and I spent an hour around Point Petre this morning when Jon picked out a very colourful Dickcissel in a roadside pocket of warblers and sparrows. We had great views in the early morning sunlight.
Directions: Point Petre is the southernmost point in Prince Edward County. The bird was seen on Army Reserve Rd. Just east of County Rd 24 (also called Point Petre Rd).There was a Remax for-sale sign close by. Happy Birding!
