I wish to sincerely thank the many observers and counters at the Cranberry
Marsh RW while I was in Pelee recently.

Below is a table that incorporates the Oct.2-6 data in one column. Indeed, the numbers
for each day were 13, 3, 49, 233 and 35 respectively.

WE HAVE A "RESIDENT" 1-yr. BALD EAGLE, AND I ASK EVERYONE TO
KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON EACH EAGLE--THERE IS A STRONG POSSIBLILITY
THAT WE HAD A GOLDEN EAGLE TODAY. THE SMALL HEAD AND FLAT-OUT
WINGS MUST BER LOOKED AT CAREFULLY.


Migrating Raptor Observations: SEE TABLE BELOW
for Oct.6- 1 TV, 22  Sharp-shinneds, 2 NORTHERN GOSHAWKS, 1 COOPER'S,
7 AM.KESTRELS, 1 PEREGRINE FALCON, 1 UNIDENTIFIED.

Non-raptor Observations over the past few days:  Several RUSTY BLACKBIRDs,
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS, CHIPPING SPARROW,RED-HEADED WOODPECKER,
EASTERN PHOEBE, GREAT EGRET, Marsh Wren, Swamp Sparrow, VIRGINIA RAIL,
hundreds of Blue Jays, and many others.

From the 401 eastbound, exit at Salem Rd. in Ajax, south to Bayly, then
east through LakeRidge Rd. to the first street beyond--Hall's Rd.--south
toward the lake to the second roadside parking area.
