Visitors:
Quite a few visitors today...but I only got a couple of names ... Michael
Sandell (Oakville) and Jerry & Gana Tilny (Calgary AB).


Weather:
Beautifulday today with lots of blue sky and broken cloud to start and
winds light from the WSW. The wind strengthened and shifted slightly to the
SW as the next low approached from the U.S. eventually bringing complete
cloud cover. Temp made it to 16C.

Raptor Observations:
A good flight today with a total of 1982 birds. Again the majority was TV's
(1463) which is typical at this point in the season. A decent count of
Sharpies (443) and some nice looks at Cooper's Hawks (9). The counteres and
visitors got to enjoy another 8 Peregrines as well.

Non-raptor Observations:
House Wren, E. Towhee, N. Cardinal, Am. Goldfinch, BC Chickadee, Downie and
Hairy Woodpeckers, a lot of Blue Jays on the move again today,
Yellow-rumped, Black and White, Common Yellowthroat, Blue-headed Vireo,
Cedar Waxwing Common Loon (20), Hermit Thrush, Brown creeper, Gray Catbird,
Lincoln sparrow, Eastern Phoebe, Nashville W. Eastern Meadowlark, Eastern
bluebird, RT hummingbird, Belted Kingfisher, YB Sapsucker, Song sparrow, GC
Kinglet, Dark-eyed Junco, Wild Turkey 

Predictions:
Predicted rain for Friday...not expecting much of a flight. However,
Saturday and Sunday both look good at least weather wise...just have to see
what direction the winds set up from.
