Monday, Oct.12 along the lakefront was overcast with very light SW wind and
only a steady BP. As a result
the migrating raptors at Cranberry Marsh RW in Whitby were very few-- over 3 AM
hours we observed only
22 hawks--4 N.Harrier, 12 Sharp-shinned, 1 Cooper's, 1 fast low-flying Goshawk,
3 Kestrels and 1 Unidentified raptor.

Near the platform was a male Eastern Towhee, an Eastern Phoebe and a
Blue-headsd Vireo, among many other birds.
