Weather: It was 100% cloudy with light rain by 2:30pm. Visibility was clear and wind was mostly from the East-South-East. It was around 5-10mph most of the day. Raptor Observations: Today most of the movement was from Turkey Vultures with 1,635. 1 Northern Goshawk and 1 Golden Eagle were also counted. Non-raptor Observations: 2 Common Loons were going by. Several Dark-eyed Juncos were around, and a number of Northern Rough-winged Swallows kept flying around the count area. A flock of 52 American Crows were also counted. Predictions: Should be a good day with more North-West winds. Might have some early rain in the day to slow it down a little, but could be good after that. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Seth Cutright ([email protected]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
