Forgive me folks, but my usual problem with perspective
interfered with my calling a Dunlin a Western sandpiper.
Though the hallmarks of a Western SP were apparent
even to the fine rufous edging of the primaries, in
juxtaposition with a Least Sandpiper, the bird was too
large to be what I thought it was - Stan
