At 5:00 p.m. today we found a single Greater White-fronted Goose with
about 400 Canada Geese at Lake Whittaker Conservation Area.
Lake Whittaker CA is in southeast Middlesex County about 20 km southeast
of London and 10 km southwest of Ingersoll.
Directions:
From Hwy 401 and Hwy 73 [Exit 203] drive south on Elgin Road about 10
km to Avon Drive. Turn left [east] and drive two side roads to Whittaker
Road. Turn left [north] and drive 1 km to the front entrance of the CA.
Park at the front gate and take the left road into the day use area. A
10 minute walk will get you to the boat launch from which you can scan
the entire lake.
