Threatening weather and no thermals allowed 5 of us to get in some good
birding at Cranberry
during the AM hours, before the rain came.
For 5 minutes a young N.Harrier harassed a Peregrine and a local Cooper's
sitting in the same
tree.
ONLY 4 MIGRATING RAPTORS CAME THROUGH--SEE TABLE BELOW.
Non-raptors included GREATER YELLOWLEGS, YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER,
NORTHERN SHRIKE, AMERICAN BITTERN, 5 BONAPARTE'S GULLS, 3 AM.PIPITS,
2500 RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS, YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS and many others.
