This morning there were 6 American Avocet in the first cell at West Perth
Wetlands. Other shorebirds included both yellowlegs, Least Sandpiper, Dunlin,
dowitcher, and Killdeer.

West Perth Wetlands are in Mitchell. From Ontario Street (Hwy 8) travel south
on Wellington Street to Frank Street. Cross the road and drive beside the ball
field to the parking lot.
PS: There is a lot of construction activity at WPWL but the first and the far
cells are accessible.
