Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 6 hours

Official Counter: Colin Horstead

Observers: Ernie Gribble, Jim Dunn, John Potticary, Kathy, Keith Sealy,
                  Mary Carnahan, Ronnie Goodhand

Visitors:
Pretty much the diehards out today...thanks to all for getting the count
done.

Weather:
Light E winds swung around to moderate SE. Still above normal temp to a
high of 16C. Mostly cloudy in the morning eventually breaking out to few
clouds under mostly blue skies.

Raptor Observations:
Not the biggest flight today with 155 birds tallied. Interestingly, there
were almost exactly the same number of Sharpies today (66) as yesterday
(65). A single adult Red-shoulder provided some nice looks along with a
couple more young Golden Eagles.

Non-raptor Observations:
As for other species...a single Am. Redstart (female), large flocks of Am.
Crows...smaller flocks of Am. Goldfinch, Am. Robin and Blue Jays. However,
the real significant movement today was blackbirds. The observers reported
a continuous stream of mixed blackbird flocks numbering in the 10's of
1000's that lasted most of the day. This massive flight was happening at
three different flight heights as well.
