The past 2 days' mild weather has brought far more birders than raptors to the Cranberry platform. Today/Nov.9 we put in 3 AM hours of observing, albeit mostly non-raptors.
With light SW winds, steady BP, a high of 16C and no thermals there was very little flight.
Among non-raptors were 5 different sparrows, hairy woodpecker and golden-crowned kinglets.
