Greetings!

If you are like me then these birds are often tough to get close to. But
today they were quite close to shore at Humber Bay West. There was a group
of 5 Redheads and a couple of Goldeneyes. Along with a Red Necked Grebe, an
American Wigeon, and a huge raft of what is probably Scaup (in the
distance).

Humber Bay west is west of Lakeshore Blvd and Parklawn Road. After leaving
the Gardiner/QEW (heading south) turn right at Lakeshore Blvd and take your
first left (before the lights). Parking is on the left and the path to the
birds is after a sign saying "Humber Bay Promenade". The birds were in the
part about 100 feet in on the left.
