Greetings! If you are like me then these birds are often tough to get close to. But today they were quite close to shore at Humber Bay West. There was a group of 5 Redheads and a couple of Goldeneyes. Along with a Red Necked Grebe, an American Wigeon, and a huge raft of what is probably Scaup (in the distance).
Humber Bay west is west of Lakeshore Blvd and Parklawn Road. After leaving the Gardiner/QEW (heading south) turn right at Lakeshore Blvd and take your first left (before the lights). Parking is on the left and the path to the birds is after a sign saying "Humber Bay Promenade". The birds were in the part about 100 feet in on the left.
