I would like to take this moment to thank the OFO for a the 2009 "Certificate
of Appreciation".
I would like to thank Doug McRae for delivering it safely into my hands. And a
special thanks to Doug who "hounded" Keith (Tiny) Lee into approaching Jim
Phillips
regarding access for birders to the wetland.
I would also like to thank Jim Phillips, P.Eng, Keith (Tiny) Lee,
Municipality of Brighton. If it was not for these gentleman, I would not have
had any "stories" to report.
The Brighton Constructed Wetland is truly a fine place to bird and "just be".
I miss going over there and look forward to Spring 2010
Keith (Tiny) Lee and I will present our report requesting a permit system for
the wetland to the "Council of the Whole" this coming Monday, December 14, 2009.
The results of that meeting will be posted as soon as I return home.
Once again, a most heartfelt Thank You to all concerned.
