Greetings!

We had a nice surprise at Colonel Sam Smith: in and amongst the Canada
Geese, Gadwalls, and Mallards was a Northern Pintail. It was quite close to
shore and seemed unbothered by even the dogs! Also present were rafts and
rafts of Scaup/Redheads and 4 Trumpeter Swans.

They were in the bay closest to the parking lot: take the path east and turn
south.

The park is south of Kipling and Lakeshore Blvd: take the Kipling exit from
the QEW/Gardiner.

Cheers,

Bernie
