Hello Ontbirders, An adult Gray phase Gyrfalcon flew west past Saddington Park at around 11:00 am today. It was a long way out over the lake, moving quickly towards Burlington. Given the smorgasbord available in the area, it may well spend the winter between Toronto and Hamilton.
The 4 Harlequins were seen in the same area as the Gyr - just west of the park. Directions from Bernie Monette's message: QEW to Hurontario and go south. Right (west) on Lakeshore Road East and left at Peter street (about a kilometer west). The park is at the end of Peter street and parking is just east of there.
