At 10:00a.m. this morning, there was a beautiful male BARROW'S GOLDENEYE
close to shore associating with a flock of Common Goldeneye. It was observed
along highway 33 west of Kingston by house number 7653 which is west of Bath
just west of County Road 21.
Cruising the backroads just north of there produced some good wintering
birds. Notable sightings include 1 SONG SPARROW, 2 NORTHERN FLICKERS, 4
BROWN-HEADED COWBIRDS, 1 MERLIN, 15 WILD TURKEYS, 1 BALD EAGLE and 5 AMERICAN
ROBINS.

Cheers
Bruce Ripley
