Hello Ontbirders. This is a message to those listening in from the Toronto
Area. This Saturday, January 9th from 9 - 11 a.m. there will be a bird walk
held at Colonel Sam Smith Park at the bottom of Kipling street in south
Etobicoke. Meet in the southern most parkinglot (not next to the powerhouse).

These walks are held almost monthly and vary between locations (humber bay or
colonel sam parks). Leaders are usually well known birders from the Toronto
area. For instance past walks have been held by Glenn Coady, Hugh Currie, Bob
Yukich, myself, Ron Scavell (spelling?) and several others whose names escape
me at the moment.

There was not a scheduled walk for January and this is a last minute posting.
I will be leading the walk this Saturday. These walks are not normally posted
on Ontbirds of course so please write down the website below. These walks are
a great way to learn more about your local birds and sometimes we even find an
interesting bird!

We will be trying particularly for Owls and Waterfowl.

Future walks can be found at the website. CCFEW is a local conservation group.

This message was cleared beforehand.

Cheers,

Andrew Keaveney
