On Sunday evening at 5pm at the intersection of 10 Concession East
and Green Mountain Road (i.e., near where SHORT-EARED OWLS have
recently been reported -- 1 was sighted here about 540pm), I was
surprised to see a single SANDHILL CRANE flying NW over the quarry.
From the QEW, take 50 Point Road up onto the escarpment, then take
the the first right followed by the first left.
