Yesterday we sighted a flock of about 50 Bohemian Waxwings on the Goat Island Road, off Highway 6, just north of the Little Current swing bridge. A second large flock was noticed flying on the Lacloche Island side of the channel.
The Northern Hawk Owl is still in the Lily Lake area on the Bidwell Rd. This owl has been sighted numerous times since before Christmas. Take Highway 6 to Bidwell Road, turn right and continue along. We saw the bird sitting in a tree near an old barn on the left side of the road, with the lake on the right.
