Nigel Shaw and I were out this afternoon and totaled five Snowy Owls at Ravenshoe and the Bradford Marsh.

Three owls were well out in fields on the north side of Ravenshoe Road between Bruce and Yonge and one was east of Yonge south of Ravenshoe Road, again well out in the field. All were fairly light with minimal barring and all on the ground.

The fifth bird was in the Bradford Marsh near the corner of Aileen and Edward. Again not much barring and on the ground.

Ravenshoe Road runs west off of Leslie Street north of Newmarket. Bradford Marsh accessible from several locations, Jane north off Highway 9 would be closest to the sighting.
