Today Gord Cameron and I birded the lakeshore from Etobicoke to 50 Point Road.

At Col. Sam Smith Pk at the foot of Kipling Avenue were 4 Horned Grebes. 4
Harlequin ducks courted off the gazebo at St. Lawrence in Port Credit. 6
Yellow-rumped warblers fed on berries in the harbour area at Port Credit on the
east side.

At La Salle Pk. were 5 American Coots and at least 110 Trumpeter Swans. We
didn't bother to write down the tag numbers !

At the foot of McNeilly off the North Service Rd near 50 Point Road were all 3
scoters including 19 Black. We found no Eiders today.

At the Eastport Lift Bridge were 2 Peregrine Falcons, Surf and White-winged
scoters.

In the open part of Hamilton Bay amongst the flocks of ducks were 15 Redhead, a
male Canvasback and 2 female Hooded Mergansers.

In between Tullamore and Bolton we found a Northern Harrier, Sharp-shinned Hawk
and 3 Cowbirds on Centreville Creek Road n. of Mayfield Rd.
