With fading light and a little luck, I was able to see the Western Grebe diving off the east end of Saddington Park on my way back from Toronto this evening at 7:30 ish. A scope was necessary, jacklight would have been helpful.
American Woodcocks were peenting away at Bronte Campground East located at Upper Middle Road west of Bronte Road. A Great Horned Owl flew over the car at Bronte and the QEW as I was getting on the highway. Direction for QEW exit at Mississauga Road South and drive to the Lake at Saddington Park. The river is on the east side of the Park Cheryl Edgecombe _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
