Very few birds were at Rondeau this weekend, but a NORTHERN PARULA was a
loner on Spicebush Trail. Jim Burk and I found this bird on the back side
of the trail around 10 this morning. There is an earlier record by a few
days, a number of years ago, I believe.
The only other warbler was a Pine on south point trail!
Yesterday I did have a pair of Yellow-rumped Warblers on Spicebush Trail,
but no others were to be found today!
Rondeau Provincial Park is found by exiting 401 at #101 (Kent Bridge Rd.)
and travelling south to Rose Beach Line. Turn right and head towards the
park. Watch for prominent highway signs.
Spicebush Trail is on Rondeau Rd. at the dead end.
