This morning the Little Gulls climbed to 47 birds in the marsh. Very little courtship and feeding was occuring. They were mostly just loafing on debris and along the edge of the Bonaparte's Flock. There were 1336 Bonaparte's Gull loafing on the mud spit still at 9am. I did not check what was on the lake this morning.

Shorebirds: 1 Killdeer, 2 Greater Yellowlegs, 1 Dunlin. 1 Pectoral Sandpiper.

Waterfowl smaller number than yesterday with Canada Goose, Green-winged Teal being the most abundant

Other Species this morning : Merlin, Cooper's Hawk, Virginia Rail and Sora

Directions

Exit from the 401 at the Harmony Rd. Exit(419) in Oshawa. Go south on
Farewell St. Colonel Sam Drive. Turn East onto Colonel Sam Drive and follow
to the parking lot at the GM Headquarters. Park in the west parking lot
close to the marsh. The east (GM) platform is visible from the NW corner of
the lot.
