Thanks to Jim Skene several of us wended our way to Hall's Rd. in southwest Whitby to locate a male BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER. We walked along the south path; Dan's sharp eyes picked him out in a deciduous tree beyond the cedars. The sun struck his face and throat in all of its fiery orange glory. Then we strolled to the platform-- a great spot to hear both Virginia Rail and Sora.
Hall's Rd. is accessed from Victoria St., just 1 block east of Lakeridge Rd.
