This evening I viewed the Plegadis ibis at the aforementioned location in
Windsor. Unfortunately the bird was in the back of the field and I couldn't
definitively determine species through binoculars. Also present were 2 Wood
Ducks, some Mallards and Canada Geese, 14 L. Yellowlegs, 1 G. Yellowlegs, 1
Solitary Sand, and a couple Killdeers. At approx. 7:40 PM, the ibis and most of
the ducks took off and flew to the north, and did not return the rest of the
evening. At 8:20, the sandpipers took off. Hopefully this bird returns in the
morning.
