*Point Pelee National Park Migration Update for : May 13, 2010*

Cloudy weather followed by mid-morning thunderstorms greeted birders today
at the Park. The high numbers and diversity of birds seen at the Tip
yesterday were not present in as high numbers today but that did not stop
the reports from coming in.

Reports from the Tip included an ACADIAN FLYCATCHER, PURPLE FINCH,
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, and MOURNING WARBLER. On the
tip itself, 2 SANDERLINGS provided great views. Also spotted off the west
side of the tip near the Middle Island sign was a WESTERN GREBE.

Tilden Trail was as plentiful as yesterday with BAY-BREASTED WARBLER, CANADA
WARBLER, GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER, BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, and a singing KENTUCKY
WARBLER. Also spotted was a SUMMER TANAGER.

Good Birding,

Hike Leaders Pete, Karl, Todd, Justin, Marianne, John and Jeremy
