This morning while observing the nesting Ospreys at the West Side Marshes Conservation Area in south Bowmanville I observed a pair of Ravens being harassed by Red winged blackbirds as they flew east along the Lake Ontario shoreline.
Directions Take Liberty St south of the 401, turn east on Lake Rd, south on Port Darlington Rd, and west along West Beach Rd. Just before you get to Lake Ontario turn right onto Cove Rd. after about a half kilometer you will reach a one lane bridge. The Osprey nest is in the lagoon to the north and the ravens were flying along the beach strip to the south. I have no idea if they will still be in the vicinity.
