Best fall-out I've personally experienced in
years.

 

Tons of warblers, many of them low, great views.
Some highlights: several Tennessees and Parulas.
Also, female Cape May. May Bay-Breasted. 

 

Vireos included Philadelphia, Warbling,
Blue-Headed and Red-Eyed.

 

Not so many thrushes, but did get Wood and Veery. 

 

Some other people had a cuckoo.

 

Lots of birders, too, all of them smiling. Good
birding!

Thickson's Woods is on the east side of Thickson
Road at Lake Ontario.  Exit #401 to Thickson Road
South.  Go south to the Waterfront Trail.  (Look
for a large green sign on your right saying,
"Thickson's Woods Nature Reserve")  Park along the
east side of Thickson Road and walk east downhill
along the Waterfront Trail.  The woods entrance
path is on the right, the entrance to the meadow
is to the left.  There are trails through the
woods to the lake as well as through the meadow.

brown binder;  instructions are insde the front
cover)
