There is currently a full breeding plumage American Avocet at Stormwater ponds 
in Hamilton. There is also a Ruddy Turnstone present at the same location, as 
well as many more species.

 

Directions:

 

Take QEW Niagara eastbound exit at the red hill expressway. You will see some 
construction on the off ramp. About 0.5km after the construction, there is a 
small opening on the side of the road that leads into a fenced area. Be very 
careful, there is a high amount of traffic in the area.
