In corroboration of Michael Tate's observation of May 17, today (May 18) I saw three American White Pelicans on the southeastern end of Hillman Marsh. Soon after I saw them, they took off and flew in an easterly direction. I saw them from the top of the dike that runs along the south side of the marsh. This dike runs parallel to a road which is, unfortunately, blocked part of the way up its length. Hillman Marsh is about four miles east of Leamington.
