Good morning birders!

It's another lovely day here at the park. We were greeted this morning
with fog, and there are definitely some new birds in the park this morning.

Highlights this morning included a singing male Summer Tanager at the Tip.
Also reported, male Kentucky Warbler. Many species of warblers, including
Wilson's, Chestnut-sided and Blackburnian. Canada Warblers are in the park
in decent numbers today, with individuals reported at the Tip, several
along the West Beach footpath and the Woodland Nature Trail. The
Kirtland's Warbler reported yesterday has been seen again today along the
West Beach Footpath, near the half-way point. As well, we have had
reported of Golden-winged Warbler, Northern Parula and Cape May Warbler
along the trail between the Tip and the West Beach parking lot.

A singing Alder Flycatcher was present on the Woodland Nature Trail this
morning. Both Black-billed and Yellow-billed Cuckoos have been vocalizing
and reported from most parts of the park..

A Connecticut Warbler was reported from the Anders Footpath yesterday
afternoon.

The onion fields north of the park continue to be productive, with large
groups of Black-bellied Plovers present, along with a few Ruddy Turnstones
The Red-necked Phalaropes (2) reported from the end of Concession E and
Mersea Rd 19, were seen yesterday afternoon as well.

Good birding everyone!
