Hello Birders!

Well, it's that time of year....this will be the last regular migration
update from the park this spring. I will post any unusual or rare
sigthings that I hear of in the coming weeks.

There were a few birders out this morning and here are the highlights of
what they reported.

At the Tip, Wilson's Warbler and Yellow-billed Cuckoos were seen. Two
Dickcissels flew of the point this morning, not returning. The West Beach
Footpath was again productive with a Mourning Warbler and Yellow-breasted
Chat reported near the half-way point. I heard a Yellow-breasted Chat at
the entrance to DeLaurier late this morning.

Least and American Bittern were both found at the Marsh Boardwalk in the
early morning hours. The American Bittern was both seen and heard, while
the Least Bittern was just heard.

Late yesterday afternoon, birders were surprised by a singing
Yellow-throated Warbler, just 200 m north of White Pine picnic area.
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher was found along the Woodland Nature Trail near
Post 17 and 2 Golden-winged Warblers were found along the DeLaurier Trail.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to report their sightings this spring
- you have been a great help in compiling these updates!

Good Birding Everyone!
Sarah
