Hi,
I just heard and briefly saw a male pothonotary warbler south of the green box
about half way to the lake. It sang loudly several times, appeared briefly &
then stopped singing. I may have heard it briefly a second time near the green
box. It is singing very infrequently. It seemed to be on the move so could be
anywhere in the woods.

Thickson's Woods is on the east side of Thickson Road at Lake Ontario. Exit
#401 to Thickson Road South. Go south to the Waterfront Trail. (Look for a
large green sign on your right saying, "Thickson's Woods Nature Reserve") Park
along the east side of Thickson Road and walk east downhill along the
Waterfront Trail. The woods entrance path is on the right, the entrance to the
meadow is to the left. There are trails through the woods to the lake as well
as through the meadow. Don't forget to add your sightings to the Jim Fairchild
memorial Mayrathon sightings book. (the brown binder; instructions are insde
the front cover)
