This morning at 7am I found a male Audubon's Warbler near Long Point Bird Observatory's Old Cut Field Station. I watched it for about 10 minutes. As of 8 am it has not been refound although a few birders are searching the Provincial Park and back towards the banding station.
Directions: drive onto Long Point along hwy 59, which turns into Erie Boulevard. I saw the bird in the last clump of cottonwoods on the north side of the road before you enter the provincial park. Old Cut field station is open to the public daily until June 6, it can be accessed by turning left on to Old Cut Boulevard. The field station is about the fifth driveway on the right (it is signed) please park in the visitor parking lot on the opposite side of Old Cut Blvd. The Long Point sightings board is updated each Friday and can be viewed at: http://www.bsc-eoc.org/longpoint/index.jsp?targetpg=lpbosight Good Birding, Mike Burrell [email protected] _________________________________________________________________ 30 days of prizes to be won with Hotmail.
