What must have been one of the last of the northbound shorebird flocks
was seen by me yesterday just south of North Beach Prov. Park in Prince
Edward County.

Approx. 20 birds were resting on a rocky point and flew off while I was
still 200 metres away, so must have been quite restless.

North Beach Provincial Park is about 30 minutes south of Hwy 401. Exit
401 at Wooler Road near Trenton, head south to Hwy 33, turn on to 33 and
continue south. Follow the signs south of Consecon. The park is
currently closed but visitors can park and walk in.
