Greetings --

A half-day trip to Carden Alvar yesterday turned up most of the species in Jean Iron's 11 June posting. To these I can add: Both LEAST BITTERN and AMERICAN BITTERN calling in the Sedge Wren Marsh in late afternoon, and an OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER perched atop a dead tree along Shrike Road.

DIRECTIONS (per Jean Iron): OFO's birding site guide to the Carden Alvar with map.
