While boating on Cook's Bay yesterday, we spotted a lone mature Bald Eagle near to the Holland River channel area of Cook's Bay. It was being chased by a Red-Winged Blackbird (!) and landed in some trees, offering a good opportunity for photographs to be taken from a distance.
