Hi Ontbirders, To-day,Aug 7, at 12:15 p.m. Dick O'Reilly located the scissor-tailed flycatcher on hwy 15, south side,about 100 yds off the road to the S, in the field just behind the Montecello sign. For about 15 mins it perched on tall vegetation,giving all present a great view. It then flew to the roadway, and perched for a very short time on the wires and shrubbery before it disappeared.
Directions. >From Arthur, drive east on hwy 109 to Hwy 16. Drive N on Hwy 16 to Monk. Turn >east on hwy 15, and drive to a bit beyond where the pavement starts, and >Montecello sign on the south side.
