This morning (Thursday), there was an immature Black-crowned Night Heron at the pond southwest of the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station. The pond can be reached by Solina Rd. which runs south from the south service road of the 401. Solina Rd. is between Interchanges 425 and 431. Park in the parking lot for the soccer fields and follow the trail south.
