Greetings Ontbirders

Shorebird numbers and diversity continue to increase in the park today with a 
highlight of 3 BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS. Also seen today were 5 BLACK-BELLIED 
PLOVERS, 3 KILLDEER, 20+ SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, 4 SPOTTED SANDPIPERS, 2 SOLITARY 
SANDPIPERS (constructed wetland), 13 LESSER YELLOWLEGS, 3 GREATER YELLOWLEGS 
(constructed wetland) 2 RUDDY TURNSTONES, 1 RED KNOT, 5 SANDERLINGS, 50+ 
SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS, 75+ LEAST SANDPIPERS, 15+ BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS, 2 
PECTORAL SANDPIPERS, and 4 SHORT-BILLED SANDPIPERS.

A PEREGRINE FALCON, MERLIN and an BALD EAGLE have been keeping all the birds on 
the move.
