Late this afternoon we checked out the Port Perry lagoons - water levels are high in all of the cells, so very few shorebirds - a flock of Yellowlegs flew over but little else. Lots of Bonaparte's Gulls and a swirl of Black Terns; 13 Flickers in one group on the grass. Scattered puddle ducks, especially in the last 2 cells, including Shoveler. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
