Went today to Rock Point provincial park and even with the wind blowing in off
the lake thus being not alot of beach for shorebirds there were a few nice
birds. Highlight was 3 juvenile Red Knots, also here were White-rumped
Sandpiper, Semipalmated plovers and sandpipers, Pectoral and Spotted sandpiper,
Lesser yellowlegs, Sanderling and a Blue-winged teal.

Directions courtesy of earlier post:Rock Point Provincial Park (entrance fee)
is on the north shore of
Lake Erie south of Dunnville. From Dunnville follow Regional Rd 3
south. Turn right on Rymer Road, left on Downey Rd, right on Niece Rd.
(The route is well signed with Provinical Park signs). Once in the
park ask for a map and directions to the lookout over the fossil
beach. Follow the trail from the lookout down to the beach.
