Greetings
Hoping to cash in on some of the weekend's great sightings at Presqu'ile, Bill
Gilmour and I spent a couple of hours at Owen Point this afternoon. We spotted
eight Whimbrels working the east side of Gull Island. This shoreline is
viewable by scope from Owen Point. Also among 14 species of shorebirds were a
Stilt Sandpiper and a bright juvenile Dunlin.
Presqu'ile is located south of Brighton (HW 401 exit 509).
